One of the best parts about you guys becoming young adults is having fun with all of you as peers...almost. Let's call it peers who pay the bills!! Mom and I haven't partied this consistently since the bar/bat mitzvah seasons ended eight years ago. And how much Dan the Man can you take? Note: the DJ's at the wedding were superb, and we had the dancers for no charge!!
So we are coming back from LA, over Iowa, and we had a great time, capping it off at Paolo's restaurant, with obsequeous service and free dessert, including dessert wine, after a girly overnight at the hotel and a fine hike on a fine day, followed by wine and cheese on the Hotel California porch. All but the shopping perfect (OK, the shopping added to the perfection for A, J and K).
All three of you are such smart, nice, strong people. All of your husband and boyfriends are great guys, smart, high quality and attentive to you (they better be!). Of course our lives are not without pressures, problems and even distress, but let's pause to often, like we did the last two weekends, to enjoy life and each other, and consider how lucky we are.
